Near Solution and ThorDrive Sign Strategic MOU to Advance WES–Indoor Mobility Integration and SDW-Based Logistics Automation

On July 23, Near Solution Co., Ltd. (CEO: Youngkyo Jung), an intelligent logistics platform provider, announced the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ThorDrive Co., Ltd. (Co-CEOs: Dongkyung Gye and Joohyun Lee), a leading autonomous driving solution company. The agreement was signed at ThorDrive’s Mobility Research Center to promote joint business development and the enhancement of WES–Indoor Mobility integration.
This MOU aims to combine Near Solution’s Warehouse Execution System (WES) technology with ThorDrive’s advanced autonomous mobile robot solutions to jointly develop an end-to-end automated logistics process, covering both indoor warehouse operations and outdoor yard and transport routes.
ThorDrive has proven its technological capabilities through commercial projects such as autonomous taxis and unmanned delivery services. Recently, it has accelerated the commercialization of indoor and outdoor autonomous driving technologies, focusing on airport cargo towing vehicles and its indoor logistics robot, the “T-RAX Indoor.”
Near Solution, with its WES solution "Near Solomon" that supports full-cycle warehouse optimization—from inbound to storage, picking, and outbound—has been driving digital transformation and productivity enhancement for small and mid-sized logistics businesses. Its SaaS-based logistics solution lineup includes "NearGo," "NearView," and "NearInsight."
Through this partnership, the two companies will:
Commercialize warehouse automation and indoor autonomous transport technologies,
Automate yard operations and outdoor logistics flows,
Develop real-time WES-autonomous driving data integration and optimization,
Jointly expand their presence in the logistics robotics market.
This collaboration brings together Near Solution’s Software-Defined Warehouse (SDW) philosophy with ThorDrive’s autonomous mobility technologies, aiming to deliver an ROI-focused process innovation model. The goal is to address logistics industry challenges such as labor shortages, safety concerns, and the urgent need for digital transformation.
Choi Yong-Deok, CBO at Near Solution, stated:
“This MOU marks a major turning point in expanding our WES technology from traditional warehouse automation to integrated control over autonomous transport. By introducing AI-powered logistics robots with dynamic obstacle avoidance, we aim to accelerate safety and productivity in the logistics field, delivering tangible automation results to our customers.”
ThorDrive CEO Dongkyung Gye added:
“The convergence of autonomous driving and WES technology will be a key driver of logistics automation. Through this partnership, we plan to implement a fully integrated indoor-outdoor logistics automation solution and contribute to accelerating innovation in the logistics industry both domestically and globally.”
