Near Solution, a company specializing in AI-based intelligent logistics operation systems (WES), has secured a 3.5 billion KRW Series A investment, setting the stage for a major leap forward with its 'Software Defined Warehouse (SDW)' strategy.

Near Solution implements execution optimization for logistics centers centered on its core platform, 'Near Solomon.' The company provides an integrated model that links advanced technologies, including its digital twin and dashboard visualization solution 'NearView,' the facility-less picking solution 'NearGo,' and various AI technologies. This combination of technologies differentiates Near Solution as a SaaS-based integrated automation platform that covers the entire WES domain.

Notably, Near Solution was highly evaluated last year, earning a TI-1 rating in a technology value assessment. It is the only company in Korea to simultaneously hold both WES solution-related copyrights and cloud service certifications. Based on this recognition, the company was also recently selected as a "Preliminary Star Company," gaining further acclaim for its technical prowess and growth potential.

The company is also expanding its market through partnerships with major domestic logistics and food companies, as well as global logistics robot and solution providers. It is lowering market entry barriers for logistics centers, medium-sized enterprises, and small logistics businesses with its cloud-based solutions and plans to launch a new product based on an LLM model within the year.

According to market research firm Fortune Business Insights, the global smart logistics market is projected to grow from approximately $88.1 billion in 2025 to around $212.8 billion in 2032. The WES market, in particular, is expected to maintain high growth with a compound annual growth rate of 14.2%. Amid this trend, Near Solution's strategy is to lead a paradigm shift from a 'facility-centric' to a 'design-centric' approach, using AI-based logistics optimization design to overcome the legacy limitations of existing processes.

Hyosung Ventures and Union Investment Partners, which participated in the investment, stated, "Near Solution’s WES SaaS business will lead intelligent process optimization in the logistics and manufacturing automation market, establishing itself as an integrated SaaS solution optimized for domestic companies, even in complex environments."

Choi Yong-Deok, CBO at Near Solution, said, "The manufacturing industry is currently transitioning to software-centric process automation, which stems from the concept of a 'Software Defined Factory.' We are applying this to logistics to pioneer the 'Software Defined Warehouse (SDW)' concept and will strive toward our goal of a Kosdaq listing in 2028."
